High School Youth Ministry
VISION STATEMENT FOR SAINT CLEMENT YOUTH MINISTRY
The Saint Clement Parish Family is committed to CREATING a DESIRE in our YOUTH, to DISCOVER, grow and nourish their relationship with God, Self, and others, so that they are EMPOWERED to make a difference in the Church and the World.
MISSION STATEMENT
Desiring God. Inspiring Others. Growing Disciples.
6th Grade - Veritas Meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of the month in the Middle School room of the Education Center.
The 5 Habits at their level and the 6 Components of Growing Young.
Focus: The importance of Small Groups in growing your faith.
7th and 8th Grade
Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month in Fr. Cronin Hall.
The 5 Habits at their level and the 6 Components of Growing Young
Emphasis: Filling in the GAPS: by surveying our students we will see WHAT they are in need of KNOWING and APPLYING, in regards to being a Disciple of Jesus and His Church. 80% attendance needed to be Confirmed or advance to Level II.
Focus: Small Groups
THE G.A.P.: Monthly sessions on Filling in the GAPS
RECREATION SUNDAYS: Once or twice a semester, a Sunday afternoon of fun, games, food, and Faith.
SPECIAL EVENTS: Once or twice a semester, it is a special gathering to celebrate a specific Important Event.
High School
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month in Fr. Cronin Hall.
The 5 Habits at their level and the 6 Components of Growing Young
Emphasis: Offering a VARIETY of OPPORTUNTIES to implement and experience the 5 Habits and the 6 Components of Growing Young.
Focus: 2 by 2 partners; Intentional Small Groups, Mentors
DIG IT!: A monthly session on HOW TO THRIVE and not merely survive being a teenager. OPEN TO ALL GRADES. Uses 2 by 2 groups. Curriculum based on the STUDENTS’ NEEDS. 80% attendance needed to be Confirmed or advance to Level II.
DEEP DIVE: A monthly session for teens interested in Peer-to-Peer Ministry, helping with our 5 Bootcamps, and digging deeper into their faith through an intentional small group. Meets 2nd Wednesday of the month, in St. Michael's portable.
