6th & 7th Grade - Veritas
Meetings are held every Wednesday from 6:30-7:45pm in the Middle School room of the Education Center.
Focus: The importance of Small Groups in growing your faith.
8th Grade & High School - DIG IT
Meetings are held every Wednesday from 6:30-7:45pm in the Youth Center on HOW TO THRIVE and not merely survive being a teenager. Curriculum based on the STUDENT'S NEEDS
Emphasis: Offering a VARIETY of OPPORTUNTIES to implement and experience the 5 Habits and the 6 Components of Growing Young.
Jakob Lopez Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements
State: Must be a registered member of St, Clement Catholic Church Youth Ministry
Education Level: High school
Experience: Involvement in Parish
Jakob Lopez was 17, a Junior at Plant City High School, Straight A student. He loved to play the guitar and on occasion he would play at the Krazy Kup, he was loved by everyone including his St. Clement church family. He was a sweet, humble, talented and loving young man. Jakob's life was cut short on September 23, 2023, he was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck by a train that claimed multiple lives.
The Lopez family said, 'We won't let you be forgotten', and they haven’t!
In honor of Jakob, this scholarship seeks to financially support a high school student planning to attend a catholic retreat to help bring them into a life-changing encounter with JESUS CHRIST.
The Jakob Lopez Memorial Scholarship will award one paid in full, Youth Retreat scholarship to one high school student at St. Clement Catholic Church each year.
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a high school student
- Must be a registered member of St, Clement Youth Ministry
- Show involvement in St. Clement Youth Ministry Programs
