State:  Must be a registered member of St. Clement Catholic Church Youth Ministry

Education Level: High school

Experience: Involvement in Parish

Jakob Lopez, 17, was a Junior at Plant City High School and a straight A student. He loved to play the guitar and on occasion he would play at Krazy Kup. He was loved by everyone including his St. Clement church family. He was a sweet, humble, talented and loving young man. Jakob's life was cut short on September 23, 2023, as he was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck by a train that claimed multiple lives.

The Lopez family said, ' We won't let you be forgotten ', and they haven’t!                       
             

In honor of Jakob, this scholarship seeks to financially support a high school student planning to attend a Catholic retreat to help bring them into a life-changing encounter with JESUS CHRIST.

The Jakob Lopez Memorial Scholarship will award one paid in full, Youth Retreat scholarship to one high school student at St. Clement Catholic Church each year.

To qualify for this scholarship, you must:

• Be a high school student
• Must be a registered member of St, Clement Youth Ministry
• Show involvement in St. Clement Youth Ministry Programs
