Council of Catholic Women
| Mission
Statement: |
- To
Provide for the women of the parish opportunities for spiritual,
educational, and civic growth.
- To render
assistance and stimulate the work of all parish organizations and
to assist the pastor, when requested.
- To be a
member and to work as part of the St. Petersburg Diocesan council
of catholic women and the national council of catholic women.

Council meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 11th at 7:00pm in Cronin Hall.

Petersburg Diocesan Council of Catholic Women "37th Annual Convention May 2, 3, & 4th. Theme: "Women, Rekindling
Faith, Prayer and Commitment." Come join us. If you are interested in
going to a workshop or the evening events, please contact Beth Aubin at
695-1280 or Judy Zaring at 754-3777 for further info, deadline for
reservations is April 11th. |
The council meetings are the second Monday of every
month from 7-9 pm in the social hall. All registered ladies of the parish
are invited to attend. The council is comprised of several different
circles that work towards various goals for the parish and community.
Please contact the circle leader if you are interested in joining one.

WOW (Women of Worship) - We embrace the needs of
the church and community through outreach services. Leader Nancy Graves

| Circle 2 |
Bereavement - We provide comfort and assistance to
families of the parish during times of bereavement. Leader Joan Carter

| Circle 3 |
COG (Children of God) - Assist in parish activities
geared towards bringing children closer to their faith community. |

Church Mice - Duties include helping in the
religious articles store and other areas as needed. Leader Judy Zaring

| Circle 5 |
Sew and Sews -We make items for the Fall Festival.
We meet year round and welcome all. There is always a project that needs
gluing or cutting so you don't have to be crafty to join us. Meetings are
every Monday night from 7-9 pm in the social hall. Leader Marsh Szymanski

| Circle 6 |
Hospitality Circle - We give Welcoming packets out
to the new members of the parish. We invite them to be our guests at
coffee and donuts on the fourth Sunday. Leader Carmen Dickman 719-8079 or

Happy Reader - We visit the nursing homes and read
to the elderly. Leader Irene Blakley 754-4071 |
| Circle 8 |
International Circle - We exchange cultures,
customs and knowledge of other countries, We help people in need and say
the rosary in different languages. Most of all, understand each other
